Due to the struggling economy and the importance of educating everyone about Agriculture, Schnepf Farms has established an educational foundation. Teachers or administrators if you are interested in receiving some funding to off-set the cost of your field trip to Schnepf Farms, please click below and fax back the form. All requests are looked at by our parent volunteers and decisions are made within three days of receipt of the request.

The number of children and schools will be very limited this year. This field trip can only be scheduled on a Thursday or Friday in October. NO OTHER DATES WILL BE ACCEPTED. If you cannot book on a Thursday or Friday, we will be conducting the vegetable picking field trips on Tuesday and Wednesday in  October. We schedule only a limited number of children to come for each day. Book early, it will sell out soon.

Field Trip Includes: Click here for your field trip planning packet & information

1.Discounted admission into the Pumpkin & Chili Party

2.Admission for students is $8.00per person and it DOES include a $2,00 pumpkin and unlimited rides.Pumpkins are included in this field trip, but due to the number of schools that attend, we may run out of the small pumpkins towards the end of the month. 2. Designated area for school lunches under a large white tent. Just an FYI, no siblings will be allowed to attend the field trip with the class. This is a  policy that will be abided by. 3. Be mindful of your eating area. We know it's hard to control, but any assistance in picking up under the picnic tables is appreciated.

4. Our tour leaders will not meet your bus, but they will be in the parking lot directing you to your area. Schools are responsible for bringing in their own lunches

5. Each teacher will be given pumpkin tickets for the children that they distribute at the end as the children are picking out their pumpkin in the school pumpkin patch.

7. When the schools are ready to leave, please just go to the pumpkin patch and pick our your small pumpkin. We have a patch planted just for the school children.
